Piercing I.R.P.N. Tip – All Material Penetration Nozzle

The Piercing I.R.P.N. Tip is a specialized firefighting attachment engineered to penetrate structural materials and immediately deliver an immense multidirectional fog pattern into concealed or inaccessible fire areas. Combining a case-hardened stainless steel piercing tip with the I.R.P.N. patented Kevlar rotating sleeve, the design provides firefighters with a purpose-built method for penetrating a barrier, introducing water beyond it, and withdrawing the nozzle efficiently.

The piercing profile is inspired by medical and surgical needle technology, applying similar geometry to a heavy-duty firefighting application. Rather than relying on a conventional pointed or wedge-shaped tip, the precision-machined stainless steel tip uses an angled, needle-inspired cutting profile designed to progressively penetrate material while minimizing the size of the opening required for entry.

This geometry also provides an important advantage during withdrawal. As the Piercing Tip is removed, displaced material can naturally close back toward the penetration path rather than leaving the larger opening typically associated with blunt-force breaching methods. This surgical-inspired approach helps provide controlled entry and withdrawal while allowing the I.R.P.N. to reach the fire environment from the protected side of a structural barrier whenever conditions permit.

Once penetration is achieved, the I.R.P.N. patented Kevlar rotating sleeve becomes the primary water-distribution system. Water passing through the sleeve creates rotation and is discharged through the strategically positioned openings to produce an immense multidirectional fog pattern. This rotating discharge distributes finely divided water throughout the affected space, helping rapidly absorb heat, cool the environment, and suppress fire beyond the penetration point.

The Kevlar sleeve provides a lightweight, durable interface around the water-distribution section while supporting the patented rotating action. Together, the case-hardened piercing tip and rotating Kevlar sleeve create a system specifically engineered around the complete process of penetrate, distribute, suppress, and withdraw.

Key Features

  • Case-Hardened Stainless Steel Piercing Tip – Built for durability and repeated penetration of structural materials encountered during firefighting operations.
  • Surgical Needle-Inspired Geometry – Precision-machined angled profile inspired by medical needle technology for controlled penetration and withdrawal.
  • Efficient Structural Penetration – Designed to concentrate force at the piercing edge and advance through barriers without requiring a large breached opening.
  • Controlled Withdrawal – Needle-inspired geometry allows the tip to pull back through the penetration path while displaced material can naturally close toward the opening.
  • I.R.P.N. Patented Rotating Technology – Utilizes the patented Kevlar rotating sleeve to transform incoming water into specialized multidirectional distribution.
  • Immense Fog Pattern – Strategically positioned discharge openings distribute water throughout the interior space for rapid heat absorption, cooling, and suppression.
  • High-Quality Kevlar Sleeve – Durable Kevlar construction supports the rotating water-distribution system in demanding firefighting environments.
  • Penetrate & Suppress – Provides structural penetration and immediate water application through a single purpose-built attachment.
  • Concealed Fire Access – Designed for introducing water into spaces that may be difficult or hazardous to access directly.
  • Purpose-Built Fireground Construction – Combines hardened stainless steel and Kevlar components for demanding emergency-response applications.

Pierce the barrier. Deliver water beyond it. Suppress the fire from the protected side.
